NOAR Youth Group

NOAR is a youth group for students in grades 7 through 12. Members participate in social activities and community service projects throughout the year.

The group is mentored by the Community Shaliach who acts as an advisor and chaperone. Together they enjoy hayrides, trips to Six Flags, pizza and bowling parties, ice skating at Millenium Park in Chicago and gatherings with teens from South Bend.

The teens also give generously of their time by working with Maot Chitim to deliver groceries to needy families during the High Holy Days and Passover. They also visit nursing homes on Shabbat and work in a soup kitchen on Easter Sunday so Christian volunteers can worship.

Our NOAR teens learn a love for Israel and a respect for the sacrifices made there. Every year, the teens participate in the Yom Hazikaron memorial service organized by our Community Shaliach.
